Studio Photoshoot for LuxeFloat: A Launch Story Through the Storm
When LuxeFloat’s prototype shipment of inflatable pontoons arrived in Brisbane, the next mission was clear: bring these luxury water platforms to life through high-end imagery. The goal? A clean, versatile, and beautiful image library for our launch and the weather wasn’t about to stop us!
We enlisted the incredible Anna Gilbert Creative to lead photography and secured Frankx Studio on the Sunshine Coast - a space known for its modern aesthetic, seamless lighting and infinity backdrop that allowed the LuxeFloat brand to take centre stage.
Planning Around a Cyclone
A tropical cyclone off the Queensland coast threatened to delay the shoot, but with products on hand and timelines tight, we moved forward. The first challenge was transportation. With multiple inflatable docks, SUPs, and accessories to haul, we hired a spacious Hyundai Staria to transport everything safely from Burrum Heads to the Sunshine Coast.
Every product arrived intact and ready to perform from the SeaHaven 3x2m Floating Yacht Dock to the RideDeck Jet Ski Dock, our Voyager SUPs, and the compact yet generously sized DriftDeck 2x2m Floating Platform.
The Setup and Shoot
Using neutral props and subtle brand styling, we highlighted the thoughtful engineering, elegant form, and lifestyle potential of each LuxeFloat product. From the teak-pattern EVA decking to the reinforced handles and premium D-rings, the details were captured from every angle - top-down, side-on, and close-up.
The LuxeFloat Rechargeable Pump featured heavily in the shoot, powering quick inflation for each platform - with zero need for manual effort. Everything was packed, transported, inflated, and photographed in a smooth half-day session, despite the cyclonic wind and rain beating against the studio roof outside.
Why It Matters
This studio shoot is the foundation of LuxeFloat’s visual identity. These images will appear across our website, product pages, media kits, packaging, and social content. It’s not just about showing what the product looks like - it’s about showing how it feels: functional, beautiful, durable, and truly luxurious.
It also proved what LuxeFloat is all about: resilient performance, elegant design, and effortless lifestyle. Even in a cyclone.
